ANNUAL PAROCHIAL COUNCIL MEETING NOTICE
SUNDAY 4TH OCTOBER - 10:30am
Dear Brothers/Sisters in Jesus Christ,
As your Parish Priest, I would very much like to extend my sincere thanks to all of you for your support in different levels. I believe this is a good time to commit our church and its future ministry to your daily prayers. Perhaps you might seriously consider whether you could serve your local church as a Church Warden, Treasurer, Secretary or a member of the PCC?
The church looks very different to us, we are facing new challenges, but also new opportunities are being presented to us by God for a deepening of Faith, a new strategy for ministry and a new approach to take us into a future with confidence.
We are called to serve the needs of our church in these times of uncertainty where anxiety rises, motivation falls and attendance drops off. Let us focus on God’s promises. He can bring resurrection and new
life to our church. God is not only Great but also Good:
“Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for your are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you all day long” (Psalm 25:4-5).
In regards to the APCM on Sunday 4thOctober 2020 (after the 9.45am morning service), we will elect our Church Warden(s); a report will be given on the electoral roll since the APCM held in 2019; the PCC Annual Report & activities will be presented; the financial account ending on the 31stDecember 2019 will be considered; a report on the fabric, goods & ornaments of the Parish will be given; election of Parish representatives for Deanery Synod will also be considered.
Thank you again for your daily prayers and support. God of love be with you all.
Yours in Christ, Rev Jules MAMBU
Priest-in-Charge.
